ABOUT

Dr. Harnoor Randhawa aka Harnoor Randhawa, Hernoor, or Noor, is an Indian-born lyricist, poet, writer, composer, and academic whose creative works draw from the deep wells of folk, Sufi, and classical traditions, carrying the essence of Punjab’s soil. He has penned hits like Ik Jogi, Shiva, and Mehboob for acclaimed artists such as Kanwar Grewal, Nooran Sisters, Afsana Khan, Harshdeep Kaur, and Bir Singh.

 

The author of two poetry collections (Qissa-Ae-Noor and Meru Manka), Harnoor is Now based in Toronto, Canada, and continues to nurture his creative calling. Over the past eighteen years, he has incessantly worked on polishing his writing style. With a fluid and versatile verse, he continues writing songs for all genres that can heal the soul yet set the dance stage on fire.
